ABSTRACT

The ancient famous classical formulas were developed based on the characteristics of excellent curative effect, small toxic and side effects, and wide clinical application. Its development will promote the development of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) with huge social and economic benefits. TCM and TCM compounds are multi-component systems, which are multi-component, multi-target and multi-pathway effect on human body, their curative effect is the result of synergistic effect of multi-component. Because of its characteristics, its mechanism of action is still unclear and quality is difficult to control. Therefore, on the basis of biological properties of the multi-components of TCM, it is the key issue to study the preparation process of the medicinal materials-decoction pieces-preparations and the transferability, stability and homogeneity of the quality attributes. Moreover, the supramolecular theory can explain the basic theory of TCM from the macroscopic and microscopic aspects, the study of ancient famous classical formulas can use the supramolecular theory. Both TCM and human body are giant complex supramolecules, and their components are clustered objects reflecting the characteristics of the original imprinting template with genetic polymorphism. The quality attributes, processing, formulation preparation and quality attribute evaluation of TCM are all affected by supramolecular chemistry, which is finally reflected in the preparation of imprinting template and the transfer law of quality properties. Therefore, the application of supramolecular imprinting template theory to study the biogenetic polymorphism of TCM, processing, formulation preparation and quality attribute evaluation of medicinal materials can improve the availability rate of successful research and development of ancient famous classical formulas.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this study is to describe the general approaches to network meta-analysis that are available for quantitative data synthesis using R software. We conducted a network meta-analysis using two approaches: Bayesian and frequentist methods. The corresponding R packages were “gemtc” for the Bayesian approach and “netmeta” for the frequentist approach. In estimating a network meta-analysis model using a Bayesian framework, the “rjags” package is a common tool. “rjags” implements Markov chain Monte Carlo simulation with a graphical output. The estimated overall effect sizes, test for heterogeneity, moderator effects, and publication bias were reported using R software. The authors focus on two flexible models, Bayesian and frequentist, to determine overall effect sizes in network meta-analysis. This study focused on the practical methods of network meta-analysis rather than theoretical concepts, making the material easy to understand for Korean researchers who did not major in statistics. The authors hope that this study will help many Korean researchers to perform network meta-analyses and conduct related research more easily with R software.

ABSTRACT

This article presents results of a research that investigated some syntactic and semantic aspects of the expression of delusional events in the discourse of a person with schizophrenia. Based on Cognitive Linguistics (CL), we analyzed 1104 clause units taken from her speech. The case analyzed shows a specific linguistic syntactic pattern related to the expression of delusional events. Results indicate a highly significant relation between the transitive construction and the clause units involving delusional entities (χ²(1, N=98) = 45.097, p<.0001) and also a significantdifference in the mean of transitivity rate in these clause units (t(80)=2.71, p=.008). These results were interpreted as evidence of a schematic conceptual core, i.e., a prototypical schematic cognitive structure associated to delusion. These findings suggest, albeit in a preliminary way, the possibility of describing delusion also on a linguistic basis

ABSTRACT

A brief history of the relationship between the phenomenology of life, developed by the French philosopher Michel Henry (1922-2002), and medicine, in Portugal, will be presented to explore the possibilities of interdisciplinarity with clinical psychology in Brazil. The focus is the phenomenality of the unpredictable in everyday life that weakens and disrupts the human being and with which the therapist constantly works. Thus, we attend to the constant affective transitivities of our clinical experiences, which always occur in community. Then, for this relationship to be scientifically validated, it is necessary that the therapist constitutes a community with the various sciences united in this process, so rethinking interdisciplinarity becomes essential for the psychologist.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this paper is to epistemologically articulate the clinics teachings of Donald Winnicott and philosophical thought of Felix Guattari and Gilles Deleuze. It specifically addresses the points of interception between the concept of the transitional and the machinic assemblage, based on the working hypothesis of a common reference to the transitive production of signs, that unfolds in the midst of one plane of immanence in which operate compositionally a multiplicity of elements for consistent training ofuncentered and mutable systems. For this exercise are used especially the article of english psychoanalyst ®Transitional objects and transitional phenomenas¼ (1951/2008b), published in the posthumous edition of Playing and Reality (1971/2008a), and the text of french philosophers: ®Rhizome¼, published in A Thousand Plateaus (1980/2006).
